Houston Limousine Association is a professional organization representing limousine service providers. We aim to promote industry standards, provide resources, and advocate for the interests of our members.

To become a member, simply visit our “Membership” page and follow the instructions for registration. Membership is open to all licensed and reputable limousine service providers.

Operator Member: Engaged in the chauffeured transportation business in the City of Houston, TX and has control of one or more motor vehicles, meets all applicable licensing and regulatory requirements with respect to the use of its driver(s) and such motor vehicle(s), and offers such driver(s) and motor vehicle(s) on a prearranged basis to the public for hire and travel over irregular routes.

Associate Member: Engaged in the chauffeured transportation business in the surrounding cities a of Houston, TX and has control of one or more motor vehicles, meets all applicable licensing and regulatory requirements with respect to the use of its driver(s) and such motor vehicle(s), and offers such driver(s) and motor vehicle(s) on a prearranged basis to the public for hire and travel over irregular routes.

  • Online:Members may renew online by logging in to their HLA account. Once logged in, next to the line that says “Renewal Due On” click on button that shows next year’s date.

If applicants apply online, their applications will be processed within 24 hours. If applicants apply by mail, or phone, applicants should allow 3-5 business days from receipt of application for processing.

Once applications are received and processed with payment, applicant’s company will be posted on HLA’s website within 7 business days. Applicants are accepted after 30 days of publication, provided there are no objections received in writing.

Annual dues are based on the calendar year (January 1 through December 31). Dues are not proportional.

 

Yes, membership confirmation and welcome emails are sent immediately after approval, you will also received information about different issues concerning the associations, and your email will be automatically added to the news letter email list.

New members can download the HLA Logo that’s embedded in their “Welcome to the Houston area Livery & Charter Association” email that is sent at the end of their 30 day pending period.

  • Members may find their member ID number online by logging in to their HLA account. Once logged in, go to the “Membership” tab and scroll down to “Manage Profile”.  For additional help, contact Member Services at (832) 298-7928.

Members can update their contact information online by logging in to their HLA account. Click on “Edit Profile” on the top left side.

The best way will be to email HLA either through the contact us form on the website, or by sending an email to info@houstonlimoassociation.com to have your questions, comments or concerns in writing. Once email is received a staff member will contact you within 1-5 business days. You can also attend members meeting where many industry issues are discussed and you can voice your concern about your issues.

We do not give out our members list but we can send out any material that you have to the list for free, if you want to purchase the list, please contact our sales team.

NLA Day on the Hill

The NLA Board of Directors, Limousine Associations’ members from all over the country, and dozens of industry leaders on Capitol Hill speak as one strong, unified voice representing the U.S. chauffeured transportation industry.

While the NLA’s professional team at Cornerstone Government Affairs is at work for livery operators every day, no one can get the ear of a U.S. Congressional leader better than his/her home state constituent.

HLA VOICE:  Members may receive the HLA VOICE monthly newsletter, by opting in on member profile. The newsletter is sent one a month with news, surveys and updates about for the ground transportation industry in Houston. It links you to the limousine world, filled with short news bites and updates you on what’s happening in the industry, what’s new on the legislative front, what’s abuzz in the association, and what’s newsworthy with member companies.

HLA Directory of Members, designed to serve members as a ready reference and a marketing resource.  Keep it close at hand, use it often and it will prove invaluable.

The directory lists all HLA members – operator, supplier and association – alphabetically by organization name.  In addition, it includes contact information for the HLA Board of Directors and staff members, and the current HLA Bylaws. A copy of this annual publication is included with NLA membership.

HLA Blog: the blog on the website is a very good tool to get information and keep up with all the industry updates and events, there is also a section on the blog for all the members’ meeting summaries, in case you missed a meeting and would like to get the scoop of what happen there.

  • Vendor: $700 / year- Your company will be a member vendor for one year, and you can promote and connect with members on our meetings, we will list your company in the association website vendor directory
  • Sponsor a meeting: $1500. Your company will be the sponsor of a meeting, you can display your company marketing material at the meeting room, you will have 30 minutes to promote your company and your services, we will send out an email blast to our members and vendors about your company for 3 months. 
  • Vendor + Sponsor a meeting combo: $1800 if you buy both packages, ($400 saving).
