How to Apply for HAS Parking Permit For Houston Airports

Limousine company along with all the other ground transportation in Houston TX generate a big chunk of their revenue from doing business with the airport system. The HAS requires all ground transportation companies to apply for parking permit in order to use the parking garages around the airport. That’s why Limousine companies should apply for the HAS parking permit in order to park their vehicles at the limousine parking.

The annual use fee, based on number of seats (including driver) is:
1 through 6 seats: $325.00
7 through 11 seats: $400.00
12 through 24 seats: $475.00
25 seats or more: $550.00

2-Sign in to your account (If you do not have an account, you can create one)
3-Go to Permit and Licensing

Permittee should be aware of and shall follow Chapter 9, Chapter 46, House Bill 100 Chapter 2402, and the HAS Operating Instructions and acknowledges and agrees to abide by these regulations, policies and all valid instructions given by the Director.

9-Upload requested files

Upload the following files with your application.
– Current Liability of Insurance
– Regulatory approvals form from A.R.A (Administration & Regulatory Affairs Department)
– Vehicle Registration Document

10-Click Submit

Note:
I always hit save first, in case after submission something goes wrong, the application will be saved so I can go back and resubmit it with redoing it again.
There is also a button to review your application, if you would like to make sure everything is correct and you did not miss any information.
After you click submit, you should receive a confirmation pop up on your windows

Once you have submitted your application to the permit office, you will not be able to edit your application again unless the jurisdiction returns it to you requesting changes.
You can check the status and review your application by clicking the review application button below or by reviewing the “My Applications” section of your account dashboard.
You will also receive an e-mail once the jurisdiction processes your application.

11-Print this confirmation as a PDF for your records.  

After 2 to 5 days, you should go to the HAS office to pick up and pay for your HAS parking permit. They accept credit cards only.
